- For one seating place (chair/sofa/futon etc.) consider saving 50 cm of space(width).
- Standard measures of round tables and number of seated persons:
A table with a diameter of 180 cm is suitable for 10-12 people.
A table with a diameter of 160 cm is suitable for 8-10 people.
A table with a diameter of 120 cm is suitable for 6-7 people.
A table with a diameter of 80 cm is suitable for 4-5 people.
A table with a diameter of 60 cm is suitable for 2-3 people.
- A table with a diameter of 160 cm including 10 chairs covers about 8 square meters (80 square cm per person).
- Standard measures for square tables and number of seated persons:
A 160/160 cm table is suitable for 10-12 people.
A 120/120 cm table is suitable for 8 people.
An 80/80 cm table is suitable for 4 people.
A 60/60 cm table is suitable for 2-3 people.
- In order to calculate seating space around a rectangular table- save 50 cm per person.
- A knights table(long and narrow) saves space in comparison to square or round tables.
- Furniture in events divides to 4 heights:
110 cm – bar table size (suitable for standing or bar chairs)
90 cm – buffets size (suitable for service and work)
75 cm – normal seating sized table (suitable for normal chairs)
50 cm – low seating sized table (suitable for sofas, couches, benches etc.)
